Best Tree for Garden
Trees are always great additions to every garden. While some residential properties are large enough so one can plant several trees, there are some that only have room for a one or two trees. Especially if you can only get a few for your yard, it is most ideal to know how to choose the best tree for your garden.

If you just purchased a new property and there are no trees planted around it, you may want to get one or a few. After all, trees have so many benefits to offer. It filters out air pollution and make the air you breathe around your property cleaner and fresher. It offers shade especially during the warmest and sunniest days. Trees are also very beautiful and would be the perfect accent to your landscaped garden.

But of course, you can’t just choose a random tree off a plant nursery. It is best that you know in advance what you should for instead of getting one just because it looks pretty. Here are some tips you could check out on how to choose the best tree for your garden:

1. Tree Size

A tree looks tiny when it’s just a seedling, a cutting or even a smaller potted tree that you can transfer onto the ground. However, you must do your research on how large it can grow to make sure that it’s something you would want for your home. You must know how much space it may occupy when it is already in its full growth potential. When doing your research, don’t just focus on the average tree size. Best if you would find out how the largest of this tree species has grown so you won’t have to worry about it later on.

2. Maintenance

The amount of time you are willing to devote for maintenance also matters. For instance, there are trees that shed a lot of leaves all year round. If so, you must be ready for a lot of daily garden cleaning. There are also others that require regular trimming. There are also some trees that require very little maintenance and even just occasional watering!

3. Produce

Do you want a tree that offers produce? And what kind of produce do you want? There are trees that have flowers and some even have fruit. Did you even know that you can grow prolific banana trees in Florida? There are even some gardeners who have their own apple trees in their Florida back yard!

When planting a new tree in your backyard or if you need professional tree services such as tree trimming, removal and more, it is best to have an expert tree contractor within reach.
